Job Description:
As Trainee Centre Manager you will be responsible for the overall management of the branch under the guidance of an existing centre manager during your training. Throughout your training you will be responsible for maintaining the efficiency of the branch by the control of labour and materials and ensuring quality of service to customers at all times. The position also controls all working practices and procedures of the company and so ensuring an efficient and safe business.
Goals of the training leading to Centre Manager responsibilities as follows:
To consistently achieving sales and operating profit targets
To drive quality & consistency of customer service and retention performance
To ensure transaction and customer satisfaction targets are achieved
To effectively manage people, time and resources to build strong recognition and reputation of the client.
Responsible for the delivery of the Clients Customer experience to each and every customer or visitor.
Take responsibility for P&L targets
Responsible for staff ratios and placement/deployment of staff to ensure both speed and customer satisfaction is maintained
Involvement in centre development, including PR and marketing
Perform all open & close processes
Create weekly schedules/rotas
Complete all banking
Follow and promote all company health and safety policies
Conduct staff meetings including daily sales updates
Complete or assist with all daily, weekly & monthly accounting processes
Complete monthly inventory processes
Assist with the order and management of stock
Manage and assist with customer complaints
To carry out any other reasonable task as requested by your line manager
Suitable candidates will boast a provable track record within a retail sales environment, some experience within the automotive industry would be beneficial, ideally within a fast fit environment. A background as a qualified service technician, MOT tester or brakes/tyre specialist advantageous but not essential. Overall an enthusiastic individual prepared to take on the challenge of managing a branch within a busy nation wide fast fit organisation.
Salary
Initially as a trainee centre manager basic salary starts from £20,000 to £22,000 based on experience. This quickly rises to potentially a £26,000 to £30,000 basic salary (based on the branch). Throughout training and on successful completion and promotion to Centre Manager targeted bonus can be £10,000-£13,000 per annum. 5 of 7 days including some weekend cover, based on 42.5 Hours per week, 25 Days Annual Leave and company pension scheme available.
