Project Manager / Programme Manager - Aerospace

Project Manager – Aerospace/Defence – New Product Development Projects.

As a Project Manager you will manage the delivery of state-of-the-art programmes.

You will lead multiple new product development projects ensuring delivery to time, cost and specification/quality whilst managing risk. It is the perfect opportunity for an experienced programme manager / Project Manager to work on high-technology projects in a highly dynamic environment.

As a Project Manager your skills and qualifications will ideally include:
• Strong experience in Project Management within the engineering, aerospace or defence environments.
• Degree or equivalent..
• Formal qualification in Project Management, such as APM, Prince 2 or equivalent.
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft Project.
• Demonstrated experience in risk management.
• Experienced in managing multiple new product development projects.

As a Project Manager your main responsibilities will involve:
• Assembling and leading Integrated Project Teams.
• Assisting with the development of the project management and bid management processes working with the process leads..
• Generating the project estimate and plan working with the IPT and Operations.
• Risk management planning and risk management execution..
• Customer interface and customer satisfaction for all assigned programmes.
• Ensuring all Life Cycle Management requirements are met. In particular all LCM reviews and gates to be planned and passed according to the process.
