ROLE:

The Management Development Trainee Programme has been designed for high potential individuals who strive to become part of the Sixt UK leadership team, someone that can become one of the future leaders of tomorrow. After completing this training, a management trainee should possess an understanding of key business concepts.
Most importantly of all, they will be ambitious and clear about how they want their career to develop. Must be operationally focused, bringing determination and drive to their professional growth.

HOW YOU WILL DEVELOP:

We’re looking for high-calibre individuals who want real responsibility from the outset. You will embark on an 12 month programme that will cover three areas: on-the-job training at key branches throughout UK as well as Head Office in Chesterfield, lastly attend nine Management Training Courses which will enable you to perfect your practical management skills and supplement the day-to-day training provided in the branches. In additional gain exposure to other Corporate Countries

You will be based at various locations (London & Edinburgh) throughout UK in a supervisory role with a Branch/Assistant Branch/Territory Manager as your mentor as well as the Quality Manager. So ultimately, you will grow into a successful Branch Managers with operational skills that are transferable across different locations throughout Sixt.

At the completion of the program the MDT graduates are guaranteed a position within Sixt (pending performance). The position on completion will be a leadership position depending on the skills, knowledge and abilities they have developed throughout the 12 month program

Your Profile
• A Business or Hospitality degree is preferred; however, professional experience can be substituted if applicable.
• You must have a full driving license
• Have the ability to work in a team environment using great communication and customer service skills
• Have a commitment to a career within the automotive industry
• Excellent customer service skills
• Strong people management skills that enjoys a challenge and working to targets

• Have the flexibility to work rotating rosters, shifts, weekends and public holidays
• Willing to relocate with Sixt
• A work permit that authorises you to work in the European Union
