Qualifications,

Background/Experience:

College or university degree, preferably in Supply Chain and/or Logistics Management or Industrial Engineering.
Experience with the CPS RIW and Value Stream Transformation process.
Proven experience Logistics and Manufacturing Planning Engineering desired.

Experience & Skills

Required: ● Experience and knowledge of lean concepts and tools.

Experience and knowledge of CPS and lean supply chain principles, specifically those applied to pull replenishment using material replenishment tools and processes, material flow, packaging and containerization, the corporate NPI process, facility product and engineering change control processes and throughput efficiency.
Strong understanding and previous experience using common supply chain systems, and the ability to coordinate facility efforts with large-scale IT transformations.
Must possess excellent leadership skills to effectively lead supply chain improvements making the best use of available resources, while maintaining strong people focus and fulfilling the responsibilities for leading people.
Must possess extremely strong collaborative, interpersonal and negotiation skills in order to drive common supply chain processes across multiple departments within a business division.
Must have strong Change Management skills.
Must have advanced analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to creatively solve very complex problems.
Thorough understanding of company policies and procedures and solid product knowledge.
Must be able to design and deploy lean systems in a highly productive environment with minimal disruption to daily requirements.
Qualification as a CPS Support Team Leader.
Completion of required corporate leadership training.
CPS Functional Job Role Qualified.
APICS CPIM or CSPC National Certification required.

Key Responsibilities

You will be part of a team with responsibilities to transform the Manufacturing and Logistics Value streams, complete and execute the Plan for every part (PFEP).
Contribute to the design of the assembly lines using Lean Manufacturing concepts and CPS methodology.
Develop process and procedures to enhance and optimize logistics and Manufacturing operations.
Review/Develop storage concepts and support re-arrangement activities.
Initiate new technologies & equipment to improve efficiencies of processes.
Specify, procure and oversee installation of equipment associated with layout and process design.

Salary/Rate: £37,000-£46,000 + 12% STIP, Pension/Share Scheme
