As a leading aerospace supplier to both military and civil aircraft manufacturers, my client is used to the high expectations of their customers. Part of a wider global aerospace engineering group, their success is due in no small part to the accurate and timely delivery of product to customers, with challenging (but achieved) customer delivery targets. To ensure the continued improvement of these standards, my client now seeks a highly experienced Aerospace professional to fill this highly influential position which has come about due to retirement.

The most senior person on site, the successful candidate will report directly in to the Group VP Operations in the USA and holds direct responsibility for; Manufacturing, Materials Management, Quality, Manufacturing Engineering & Facilities. The role will be highly autonomous, holding significant decision making authority and will be influential at the highest levels within the group.

As the ideal candidate you will already have held a similar post within an Aerospace Engineering business of some size and complexity. You will also have; a first-hand understanding of managing Profit and loss, a well developed 'budget-management' competence, first class man-management & interpersonal skills and last but by no means least, the ability to manage 'up-line' to a group board based on the west coast USA.
