We are a recruitment company and we are currently looking a Quality Engineer

Reporting into the Quality & Business Improvement Manager you will be the Quality authority for key products/projects within the Aftermarket production module with key responsibility for ensuring delivery of conforming products to end Customer.
As the Quality Engineer your key responsibilities will include:
Generation and implementation of Quality plans to meet Customer requirements
Establish operational Quality procedures and ensure Quality Management System adherence to EN 9100 & EN9110
Manage Customer Audits and Source Inspection Activities
Ensure inspection process adherence and associated physical sign-off of product prior to despatch.
Manage Quality Escapes and Customer Investigations
Drive product and process non-conformance investigations and associated root cause analysis activities including concession management
Establish and track Quality KPIs, and implement activities to drive improvements.
Conduct required First Article Inspections and ensures smooth transition of new products into production

As the Quality Engineer your qualifications and experience should include:
Degree qualified (Desirable)or equivalent experience
Experience in Electrical and Mechanical product experience is required
Understanding of key aerospace Quality Standards such as EN 9100/EN9110, NADCAP, Civil Regulations
Certified EN9100/9110 Auditor (Desirable)
Proven background in Quality Assurance and thorough understanding of Quality tools and techniques
Demonstrated experience of implementation of business process improvements & Quality Planning Practical and sound technical understanding - ability to effectively understand drawings, design standards and liaise with engineering.
QMS implementation and auditing to recognised aerospace standards including FAI to AS9102

You will have:
Excellent communication skills so as to be able to explain functionality and benefits and manage key stakeholders both internal & external.
Attention to detail and methodical approach
Good level of report writing and adept with most IT packages
Be a leader, team player, coach and motivator and have a positive and ‘can do’ attitude on others
