The opportunity:
Working in a busy engine shop environment, reporting to the Team Leader, we require Airframe Technicians to carry out airframe repairs on the Quick Engine Change product line. This is an exciting opportunity to join a new, growing team, focused on providing customers with overhaul services of the entire engine unit. Individuals must be able to carry out work effectively and safely to plan, contributing to the team delivery of agreed targets and goals. You will also support a climate of continuous improvement to assist productivity, quality and Lean.
Interested applicants should have a relevant apprenticeship or equivalent, previous experience in carrying out airframe repairs and a thorough understanding of aero engines. Knowledge and experience of aircraft documentation practices is also a requirement. You must be able to demonstrate good team work, a flexible attitude, self-motivation, attention to detail, and problem solving skills. An appreciation in the use of Lean, previous exposure to improving quality and experience of working with lifting equipment are all desirable.
