Project Engineer - Automotive Electronics

A superb opportunity to join a small Tier One Automotive company involved in development and support of Audio and Navigation Systems. Excellent opportunity for a graduate with automotive electronics experience to work on infotainment projects.

Development/Project Engineer
£24-28k pa (incl. company car, pension, BUPA)

Introduction:
An exciting opportunity, ideally suited to a recent graduate, working for a global tier 1 automotive OEM electronics supplier for audio and navigation products, in a varied role covering requirements capture, testing and development support.

Education:
Educated to an HNC/HND or Degree level in electronics Engineering, or equivalent.

Main Functions:
You will be required to provide application Engineering support, effective management of the product development cycle and product testing according to project requirements. In this role you will create specifications, lead problem solving activities, provide support for post design release activities as well as creating and maximising business development opportunities by maintaining customer relationships at all levels.

The candidate must be able to understand automotive audio and navigation architecture. An understanding of vehicle integration is preferred.

The candidate must:
Be customer focused.
Have excellent verbal and written communication skills
Possess necessary skills for audio/navigation product integration, testing and evaluation.
Have a methodical approach to problem solving.
Be flexible to travel to locations in the UK and abroad.
Possess a clean driving license.
