Specialist Engineer -Exhaust/Chemist

We are looking for a Specialist Engineer to work for a major Automotive company based in Warwickshire.

Job Title:- Specialist Engineer
Experience:- Automotive Exhaust Gas Aftertreatment Technology Development Skills:- Product Development Processes
Location:- Warwickshire
Rate:- £25.66 per hour
Hours:- 40 per week

The Role:
*Exhaust gas Aftertreatment Chemist responsible for advanced research and development activities related to washcoat and coating formulation for catalysts and filters for gasoline and diesel engines, leading projects and delivering technologies into vehicle programmes.

Skills Required:
*The successful applicant must be able to substantially reinforce a growing team of engineers in building an in-house exhaust gas aftertreatment capability while delivering new exhaust gas technologies to support future gasoline and diesel products.
*Must be self driven and have excellent team working skills

Experience Required:
*The successful applicant must have experience in automotive exhaust gas aftertreatment technology development either with an OEM or Tier1 supplier

Experience Preferred:
*Good working knowledge of product development processes and GTDS principles

Education Required:
*MSc or PhD in Chemistry
