The opportunity:
Due to an expansion within the business, we are seeking a Quality Assurance Engineer to be based onsite at our clients ‘Engine Services’ facility in Gosport, Hampshire.

Reporting to the Quality Manager, you will provide independent assurance that all business procedures, maintenance and regulatory standards are complied with and you’ll be responsible for developing processes to minimise quality escapes. The role will involve a full scope of problem solving activity, interacting with customers internally and externally as well as dealing with technical issues and facilitating improvements.
Our ideal candidate must be able to demonstrate quality assurance engineering experience gained with the aerospace industry or similar. You will be familiar with internal and external auditing techniques and preferably hold an internal auditing certificate or be a qualified Lead Auditor/ Assessor. An appreciation and practical application of some of the industry’s quality management systems and regulatory authority requirements is highly desirable.

As a change facilitator you will have an ability to motivate, influence and drive compliance. You will possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, demonstrate credibility and act with integrity. The use and application of modern quality tools and techniques and computer skills are also highly sought.
