Aerospace Quality Engineer - UK

An Exciting opportunity has arisen within a Major Global Aerospace Manufacturer for a Quality Engineer to join their, already strong, Quality initiative. The Company is one of the world’s leading suppliers of aerospace components and systems to many of the largest Aerospace and Defence Manufacturing Companies around the world

The Role will see you defining and generating Quality plans to meet customer/ supplier requirements and ensuring products and processes adhere to aerospace, EN 9100, standards. You will be charged with managing and hosting customer audits, supplier visits, customer investigations, managing and improving the internal quality systems, non-conformance investigations, and root cause analyses.

Ideally, you will be Degree Qualified in an Engineering Related field with an understanding of Aerospace Standards including AS9100, with exposure to some Lean OR Sigma manufacturing. You will have a proven background in quality assurance and will be a confident communicator with experience of customer interaction and resolution.
