Description		Sous Chef required in Crewe for this newly refurbished country pub / restaurant. The restaurant will turn over in the region of 200 - 300 covers a day, The cuisine will be traditional and modern British using fresh local ingredients, with scope for added flare & tastes of the world on the daily specials list. Preferably the applicant will have some previous experience of a fast paced fresh food catering environment, and will be expected to cover the duties of the head chef in their absence. Duties will include cooking and preparing fresh food to a high standard, general cleanliness, ordering of stock and food hygiene. The candidate should be keen and eager to take on work and should thrive from the buzz of high pressure environments. Knowledge of the catering environment would be advantageous, Basic food hygiene will be offered as training before the role commences. In return the candidate will have the opportunity to work within a brand new fully equipped high spec kitchen alongside a well established team who have a proven good track record in the industry and who are eager to push you and the new business forward. Interviews will be carried out immediately and the role will commence as soon as the refurbishment work to the premises has been completed.
