Job Title: Senior Sous Chef
Location: Central London
Salary: £23,000 pa
Hours: 5 days out of 7 per Week Rota
Job Description:
A ‘3 AA Rosette restaurant’ is looking for a Senior Sous Chef to join their team of 4 chefs. You will be working with the Head Chef on the everyday running of the kitchen. You will move around the kitchen assisting in all sections with the ‘Mise en Place’ and service.
The 80 cover restaurant serves Modern British cuisine with a Caribbean twist and focuses on using seasonal fresh ingredients. As the Senior Sous Chef, you will ensure other members of the brigade prepare the fresh food properly, and dishes are cooked and presented to the correct high standard. You will also help with menu planning and liaising with suppliers. This would be a great opportunity for Sous chef (or strong Junior Sous Chef) who wants to work with a world renowned Head Chef and further their career new things and be part of a friendly environment.
Qualifications/Experience Required:
Previous experience in an AA Rosette restaurant or hotel would be advantageous.
NVQ Level 2 or equivalent would be an advantage.
