Assistant Chef

This role is a permanent position 37.5 hours a week working in the restaurant situated in the heart of this beautiful 18th Century Landscape Garden in Uckfield East Sussex. This venue is open 7 days a week all year round operation so the working pattern will include weekends and bank holidays. You would work 5 out of 7 days a week.

As Assistant Chef you will assist the Head Chef in food preparation, baking, cleaning, putting away deliveries, placing orders and keeping food safety records up to date. You will be part of a friendly team and will be invited to join in staff meetings, training sessions and other events with the rest of the property team.

Flexible approach to working hours

Cooking qualifications
Willingness to learn new skills

EXPERIENCE:

Experience of working in a busy kitchen
Worked as part of a team
Proven ability to carry out instructions
