Inventory Manager
Due to our expansion plans we now require an Experienced Inventory Manager to help us continue on our journey of success. You will be based at our Sleepy Hollow Head office in Thame, Oxfordshire. Travelodge was the first budget hotel brand to launch in the UK in 1985. We now operate over 500 hotels across 3 countries, UK, Ireland & Spain. The Role
Key objective of the role is to maintain daily inventory allocations and room availability across Central and Greater London properties in line with London Revenue Manager's strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Opera Inventory management - ensuring correct length of stays and overbooking levels have been applied to hotels in accordance with Yield Management System (Ideas) and Booking Trends. Advise relevant Revenue Manager of any 'anomalies' and implement any recommended changes.
Assist with management of Ideas Yield Management System to ensure correct decisions on inventory controls and pricing are being deployed and communicate with both Ideas Team and Revenue Team on any issues raised.
Daily monitoring of room sold trends and communicate with relevant Revenue Manager any 'unexpected' changes in demand to aid pricing decisions.
Day to day management of Travel Trade allocations, including daily communication with Travel Trade team on allocation requests, on-going management of contracted allocations in line with Company processes and ensuring that relevant Revenue Managers and Departments are made aware of any substantial changes to allocations, rooms sold and group wash trends.
To be involved in Travel Trade contracting to ensure all files are prepped in correct manner for rate and allocation loading.
Bi-weekly feedback to Revenue Team on current Travel Trade usage with recommended actions.
To manage transient group booking requests for London Market in line with business processes and guidelines.
Assist with any other reasonable request to support the Revenue Management of the Travelodge business.
The Successful Candidate

* Trained to at least intermediate level in Excel
