I am looking for a really strong Head Chef to join and lead the very settled kitchen brigade and help push them on to bigger and better things. The hotel is a very popular venue for leisure guests and they also do a lively trade in weddings and other small functions. To cap this off they now want a Head Chef with the skills and experience that will help them gain a rosette for the a la carte restaurant. The ideal candidate will have won a rosette rather than maintained a previously attained one.

MAIN DUTIES
The new Head Chef will be responsible for motivating and guiding the brigade of 7 chefs, from sous chef to commis, and help them attain a rosette for the restaurant. As well as this, the new Head Chef will be responsible for the food in the Spa and Golf course, and the client is keen to impress that each area is of equal importance to the business.

The restaurant seats around 100 covers, whilst the function side looks after just 50 - 70 covers. All food comes from one kitchen and so you need to be very organised whilst at the same time being very 'hands on'. The Head Chef will report directly to the General Manager and will be tasked with winning accolades whilst keeping the food and wage costs under control.
The Chef de Parties and Sous Chef will look to the new Head Chef for motivation and training and you will have the opportunity to demonstrate all of your accolade winning experience to wow them and the hotel guests!!
