Our client is a high quality independent Modern European restaurant in the heart of the beautiful city of Chichester. The kitchen is led by chefs who have come from a Michelin background and who have maintained the quality but prefer a more informal style.
They are based in an historic building that once housed the oldest wine merchant in England.

The luxurious top floor apartment, (one of the best addresses in Chichester), is reserved for their chefs. Their customers love the stylish interior which marries handsome Georgian architecture with a modern utilitarian look. The walled garden is insulated from the noise and bustle of the high street and is a lovely place to relax with a bowl of mussels or a glass of Pimms a real oasis from a busy high street.

Their superb kitchen is producing some of the best food in Chichester and they want to build on that success. At this restaurant all the food is cooked from fresh and we produce our own bread and pastry and they are looking for a team that is excited by the opportunity of working with experienced chef’s who enjoy cooking and want to maintain or even improve the high standards that have already been established. The time is right for them to expand the menu and to open every evening for dinner and as they are a caring employer they are looking to expand their team and are looking for talented chefs to join the team.

The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate:

• Must have experience at sous chef or senior chef de partie level
• Be able to lead your team from the front and by example
• Have a proven track record of managing teams
