The position for Logistics Manager in London is no longer available
Our client, a cleaning services provider are looking for a Logistics Manager to join their company asap. The main, overall purpose of this role is to oversee, maintain equipment and stock control, ensuring legal compliance and highest quality.
Duties will include:
*PAT testing, ladder tagging of equipment on clients' sites and in head office
*Inspect all other equipment to ensure health and safety compliance
*Responding to enquiries
*Producing ad hoc reports whenever requested by senior management
*Insure all company equipment
*Responsible for upkeep of Fixed Asset Register
*Auditing all equipment and stores held on clients' sites and in head office
*To order all stationery and consumable supplies for head office and clients' sites
*To set up and work within company procurement guidelines and timescales, to ensure the effective purchase of products
*Contributing to sales opportunities
*To ensure all deliveries, documentation, and returns are dealt with in an accurate and prompt manner
*The promotion of an awareness of security standards throughout the store
*To ensure all company stock is stored in a safe and secure manner at all times
The suitable candidate should have:
*Ideally have experience in logistics, operations or facilities within the hotel/hospitality industry
*Have an 'open' attitude towards work
*Maintain a professional work manner at all times
