Description To provide / assist with personal support to Service Users in the community
To enable them to live independently in the community and own homes, either individually o in small groups, or with families, promoting autonomy and independence
To provide the highest standards of holistic care and attention, providing both personal and emotional support to Service Users individually and/ or in group setting
To assist in maintaining safe levels of care and ensuring safe practice
To further the development of daily living skills, and to promote the growth of Service Users abilities and interests generally.
To work with Service Users in the home setting and in the community
To assist Service Users to make their own decisions and control their own lives in a variety of situation (personally, emotionally and financially)
To ensure hat at all times Service Users are treated with respect and valued as a person and their right to privacy is upheld.
To implement individual care plans and work in co-operation with other members of the support team (professional, voluntary, family or advocates)
To assist personal care appropriate to individual needs
To use the relevant documentation to record activity with the Service Users and ensure that all information relevant to the Service Users ore service provided is accurately communicated to the branch and Service Users.
