Package: £13-17 per hour DOE/payment option

We are currently recruiting an experienced Housing Officer to cover a patch in the South Devon area.

Responsible to the Housing Manager you will be required to manage a large patch of properties handling the following:

• ASB
• Estate inspections
• Sign-ups
• Maintenance works
• Pre and post void inspections
• Encouraging tenant participation
• Providing advice and support around welfare and benefit issues.
• Good IT skills

The successful candidate will need to have a good basic understanding of common maintenance problems, landlord & tenant legislation, a working knowledge of housing issues as well as an understanding of welfare & benefit issues.
The ideal candidate will need to have approximately 1-2 years previous experience within housing management and have their own transport.
