THIS ROLE IS SPECIALISING IN POLICIES / EMPLOYMENT LAW & PROJECT MANAGEMENT
Our client, a leading charitable organisation, based in the City currently has a new role for Senior HR Manager specialising Policy & Procedures/Employment Law and Project Management. This is a one year contract. You will work closely with the Corporate side of the business and liaise with the business centre in Peterborough. You will be an expert in employment law and responsible for updating policies and procedures as well as project management. You will have a can do attitude as well as being resilient.
Area of the role will cover:
Provide expert advise on employment law and the companies people policies. Reviewing and developing.
Evaluate the effectiveness of these policies across the business.
Ensure the policies reflect best practice and are in line with current legislation.
You will take lead responsibility for reviewing the policies and monitor changes and be aware of any forthcoming changes.
Be the in-house employment law expert.
Identify trends arising and develop solutions and strategies.
Request regular feedback from other HR members.
Ensure the HR intranet section is kept updated.
Ensure HR team is briefed on key activities.
Working closely with all HR depts.
Attend meetings to brief colleagues.
You will be CIPD qualified.
Expert in employment law.
Excellent project management skills.
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written.
High attention to detail.
Confidential and diplomatic.
Flexible attitude to work and relationships.
Ability to represent Head of HR at meetings.
