Community Development Manager

A Community Development Manager is required for a charity, based in Kenilworth, Warwickshire. Offering a salary of £24,000- £27,000 per annum depending on experience.

We are looking for a self-directed Community Development Manager, with excellent networking skills, who will be responsible for the long-term development and day-to-day management of the operations of the centre charity.

The Centre is a newly established locally led charity, with the aim of placing all communities within the town at the heart of its operation. There are significant marketing opportunities within the structure of the centre and a requirement to build on and develop our initial business plan.

This is an opportunity for an enthusiastic, motivated and self-managing individual, who demonstrates leadership and effective communications skills. Ideally, you will have a clear understanding of the youth agenda, in addition to wider community capacity building experiences, and be able to successfully identify and implement new and challenging strategic initiatives. A community youth work, or equivalent, qualification and significant relevant experience is essential.
