Description		Strong technical background in either the Nuclear and/or Chemical sector. Ability to show delivery of capital projects in a difficult environment. Ability to lead teams of personnel. Candidates will undertake reviews and approve documentation as required by the company or client procedures. Reviews documentation prepared in the process team and checks and critiques these deliverables from both a conceptual and detailed perspective. Sets the required technical bases for the execution of process activities. Commissioning experience would be beneficial The successful candidate�s responsibilities will be to supervise the execution of process activities on projects by providing the lead engineer and other process staff with the required technical and non-technical direction. Keeping informed on the progress of project activities through regularly scheduled project review and adhoc sessions with the Lead Engineer and others. Ensures the proper input to the Gate Reviews as required by company procedures and Project Quality Plans. Takes corrective actions with regard to staffing, process team organization and technical execution as required. When requested by Management, organizes and leads large teams of Process engineers and serves as the Process Team Manager for a World Class size project. Alternatively leads or coordinates the process activities for several projects for a particular client or technology area. Serves as a Project Manager for process studies or front end design work. Candidates should be able to function with the Engineering Manager - Process and other Technical Managers to perform the following departmental activities: Training Staffing and recruiting Development of PEM, departmental procedures and methods Improving departmental performance Substitutes for Engineering Manager - Process when required. Interested individuals will be qualified to minimum of a Bachelor�s Degree in Chemical Engineering (or equivalent). Relevant experience with an engineering company or operating company, and Principal / Lead Process Engineer experience, with a level of experience compatible with the position for which they are applying.
