Description		Position: Manufacturing Engineer Salary: �20,000 - �30,000 Location: Cheshire, near Crewe Apply to: l.wickham@jamjobs.co.uk A leading international organisation is looking for 3 Manufacturing Engineers to supplement the current manufacturing engineering strength during both the preparation phase and the implementation phases of site transformation. Key responsibilities; � To develop, establish and maintain efficient manufacturing processes and facilities to meet production programme requirements taking into consideration factors such as safely, logistics, process flow, inventory and lead times. � The provision and control of parts of a safe system of work, for example Risk assessments. � Input to the design process in order to drive design for manufacture and assembly. � The reviews of process quality data using appropriate statistical techniques and the identification and embodiment of continuous improvement activities. � To collect data and assist in production readiness activities to ensure that the processes are robust and deliver a timely, cost effective and complaint product. � Provide support to the Cell Leader to ensure that Effectively and Safety targets and met for the production areas. The successful candidate will have a proven background within a manufacturing environment, ideally having undertaken a similar role. Knowledge of quality assurance and SHE requirements, techniques & processes are desirable. A NEBOSH qualification would certainly hold you in good stead.
