Description		We are currently recruiting Diesel Generator Engineers to work from home. The vacancy will be working around the North Yorkshire area, ideally situated in York, Selby, Ripon or Tadcaster. Covering the North East of England My client provides a comprehensive service for the generator after market and they have a dedicated aftermarket support team who manage the OEM spare parts supply, maintenance and repair services. Ex-forces - Army, REME with generator experience would be of interest Responsibilities: Undertake standard service activity including major & minor diesel servicing. Carry out contract maintenance and inspection on a planned basis to recommended standards. Fault finding and rectification in both Electrical and Mechanical disciplines. Electrical Installation of Control Panels, Changeovers etc Participation in �Call Out� Rota for out of normal working hour's response Comply with all Company Health and Safety Requirements Experience: Previous experience with Diesel Powered Generators or related industry would be advantageous. Will be qualified mechanical/electrical Knowledge of reciprocating powered generation equipment and their associated control systems. Good fault finding skills and the ability to work unsupervised are essential. Requirement for 24hr call out rota Salary: Competitive Salary plus paid overtime Company Vehicle Supplied. Pension, Healthcare, Work wear etc Hours: 40 per week.
