Description		Position: Test Engineer Salary: �18-25,000 Location: Bedfordshire, Luton, Dunstable, St Albans, Hemel Hempstead Apply to: a.ross@jamjobs.co.uk This is an excellent chance to join one of the UK�s leading Defence businesses operating at the forefront of global technology across Land / Sea and Air Electronics Systems and Equipment You will be responsible for running a wide range of test function on a variety of Avionic and Defence Black Box Systems down to board and component level. The equipment predominately consists of RF and Microwave components and functions. Key Responsibilities �Test hardware on time in response to the works orders from the planning engineers �Testing and diagnostics to test specifications down to component level �Carry out simple local rectification where required �Liaise with engineering for diagnostics Key Skills and Experience �Must have a strong bias with an electronic background with a mechanical aptitude �An understanding of quality control procedures �Have experience of working in clean room environments �Diagnostic skills down to component level �Use of Network and Spectrum Analysers �Conversant in the operation of Nitrogen Chambers Work Patterns �Shift teams of 8 �Shift Patterns 6-2 & 2-10 rotating weekly or 4 on 4 off shift patterns �Shift allowances paid If you are interested in this position, please send an up to date CV along with your salary expectations and availability to a.ross@jamjobs.co.uk If this role is not of interest to you, please forward it on to someone that might be.
