Description		The Company was initially established to provide Process Control Systems to the British and American Coal Industries. Over the intervening period, our client has gained a reputation for providing a Quality Service to a diverse range of Industry Sectors. They now have an extensive track record for providing Management Information Systems within a wide range of International Industries including:- Metals - Mining - Nuclear - Power Generation - Power Electronics - Water and Effluent Treatment - Confectionary & Food - Drinks & Beverages - Industrial Gases - Glass - Oil & Gas - General Material Handling. A Service Engineer is expected to provide responsive support to our customers, work on projects and carry out commissioning services. As such, a flexible attitude towards working hours is required � whilst most sites can be supported remotely, there will be occasions when it is necessary for our engineers to be called into work or a customer site without any prior notice and to arrive within our stated response time. A reasonable amount of overtime working is expected from service employees in order to fulfil customer requirements. It is likely that working time will be split between service work and project work. Essential Requirements: Experience of electrical maintenance/fault-finding. Experience with PLC and Scada programming. Experience with "Full Life-Cycle" control system design. Versatile / flexible attitude to work. Excellent communication skills. Desirable Requirements: Experience of programming Siemens or Rockwell PLCs. Experience of programming Intouch, iFix, WinCC or RSview Scada systems. The ideal candidate will have experience of more than one of the above systems.
