Description		9230/534/SJ Assistant Operations Manager - Merseyside �35,000 - 40,000 + Pension + Product Training The Company Recognised and respected brand in the supply of electro-mechanical products for the transport sector. With strong backing from their parent group the company are ready to undergo huge expansion and plan to grow their turnover by �8 million. To achieve this, the company are recruiting for a number of key personnel. The Role Crucial to the success of the business is the championing of a new continuous improvement culture. This will be your key priority in the role along with introduction of new KPI's and measuring performance versus them. You will be directly responsible for fifty staff and your approach in developing these personnel will be key to your success in the role. The Candidate You will need to be a strong leader with experience in managing a sizeable workforce in manufacturing. Prior exposure to lean manufacturing is a requirement for the role and if you have any practical experience in the application of six sigma this would be a definite advantage when applying. If you are keen to progress this could be an excellent opportunity to develop in a growing business. The Benefits A very competitive starting basic up to �40,000 is on offer with a company pension.
