Description		Position: Safety Manager � Explosives Training! Salary: �24,000 - �35,000 Location: Radway Green Apply to: s.bailey@jamjobs.co.uk A leading international organisation are looking for a Safety Manager to provide and advice to Operations to ensure that all Explosives Hazards are adequately controlled. To be involved in the transformation of the Small Arms Ammunition manufacturing system. Key responsibility areas: � Providing professional advice and support to Operations staff to ensure that all Hazards are controlled so that risks are ALARP � Developing the Site Safety Management System � To provide a comprehensive audit / inspection service to monitor the sites Safety Management Systems which control risks associated with manufacturing with and storing explosives and explosives filled articles. � To assist Operations staff with Accident Investigation and Reporting � To lead / participate in technical risk assessment exercises. � To provide technical advice encompassing material properties issues associated with processing explosives materials. Desirables � Degree in Chemistry or similar would be beneficial � Chemical Processing experience would be beneficial � No specific Explosive experience needed as training will be provided � Looking for some one with the willingness to learn and the drive needed to move up wards within the company.
