Description		TECHNICAL SUPPORT ENGINEER LOCATION: Chelmsford, Essex SALARY: �35-45k COMPANY: Our Client is a leading manufacturer of heat pump technology with a high focus on design, development and technical support. Due to continual growth they are now actively looking to recruit a Technical Engineer to join this warm, friendly and experienced team. ROLE AND RESPONSIBILITIES: These types of positions, which allow you to join a real market leader do not come along very often and with management duties that involve reporting directly to the Managing Director you will have significant input into the design and development of future products. You will provide pre and post sales and installation support at a technical level for the full product range but with a focus on the domestic heat pump sector. You will therefore be dealing with a customer base, which is made up of, consultants, engineers, housing providers, specifiers and installers/contractors. QUALIFICATIONS AND COMPETENCIES: Ideally you will hold a strong working knowledge of domestic heating system design and installation together with good building services experience. You will be degree qualified and hold technical knowledge of either building services, HVAC, renewable energies or domestic heating. You will also have a good professional approach to engineering, excellent communication and interpersonal skills along with sound business acumen.
