We are looking to recruit a suitably qualified engineer to take a lead role in developing the pipeline consultancy business within the pipeline team in Aberdeen. This team have substantial expertise in the design and analysis of subsea and land pipelines.

Reporting to the Pipelines Team Leader, the main responsibilities are as follows:

• Take a lead role in developing the pipeline consultancy business
• Lead the management and delivery of the pipeline consultancy projects
• Contribute towards the technology development of the pipeline team
• Supervise and mentor other engineers
• Undertake pipeline analysis and review work.

You will need to have a proven track record in advanced pipeline analysis, including non-linear finite element analysis. You will be able to understand and interpret client requirements and sell our services. Holding a good degree in engineering, it would be desirable to have knowledge of flexible pipe behaviour, pipeline operations and the installation of pipelines.
