Description		Automation Engineer / C & I Engineer C�32,000 Sudbury, Suffolk 41/23/sa/ Due to expansion there is now a vacancy for an Automation Engineer / C & I Engineer to join a leading pharmaceutical company at their Suffolk site near Sudbury. This global organisation is at the forefront of medical research and development, and can offer the Automation Engineer / C & I Engineer outstanding prospects for career development. Salary is in the region of �32,000 neg and there is an extensive benefits package including share plan, pension, private medical, life assurance. This position is commutable from Suffolk, Cambridgeshire, Essex and some parts of Norfolk and Hertfordshire. The Role: Automation Engineer / C & I Engineer - * To support the manufacturing automation systems to ensure reliability and robustness of operation and to identify, develop and implement automation changes to support Manufacturing * To develop Automation policies and Standard Operating Procedures as required. * Identify, develop and implement approved automation changes to support Manufacturing operations. Knowledge / Skills / Experience: Automation Engineer / C & I Engineer - Essential: * Automation/IT/Process/Engineering qualification (Degree/HNC) * Experience in the Pharmaceutical Industry or similar heavily regulated manufacturing environment. * Experience of design, installation and support of Automation systems (PLC, SCADA etc). * Working knowledge of cGMP and GAMP. * Field Instrumentation experience (troubleshooting, configuring etc)
