Our clients Consultancy teams provide a wide range of safety engineering and risk management services to the oil and gas and Energy industry, using a comprehensive range of modelling tools and techniques.


The safety engineer (grade open) reports to a team leader or principal consultant and has responsibility for delivery of projects under the guidance of the principal. The role includes extensive customer interaction to discuss technical issues and solutions.


Responsibilities:
Work on safety related projects to deliver solutions to customers, preparing technical work and reports within timeframe, costs and quality standards agreed
Participate in HAZID/HAZOP studies
Participate in assuring legislative compliance on behalf of clients (safety case and supporting regulations, DCR, PFEER, pipelines safety regulations
Carry out HS&E, compliance and safety management system audits
Participate in risk management activities
To assist in technical bid documentation preparation where required

Skills and Qualifications:
Degree in Engineering or relevant Scientific Discipline
Experience of working in the oil and gas or Energy industry would be an advantage
Have a working knowledge of risk assessment techniques, such as HAZID, HAZOP, QRA, fault tree etc
