Urgent AspenTech Software Developers required to work on a contract basis for an innovative industry leader in the Pharmaceutical field. With a firm foundation in science, they have a flair for research with a track record of turning the research into powerful, marketable products. They now require Software Engineers to provide technical Automation IT design, support, maintenance and continuous improvement programmes to the Manufacturing Execution Programme.
You will be collaborating with a small team of automation, instrumentation and control engineers, external contractors and co-ops to successfully design, support, maintain and continuously improve instrumentation, automation and control systems for new and existing Pharmaceutical equipment and facilities.
You must have previous software development experience within an Automation & IT environment. Experience covering a batch manufacturing operation would be a distinct advantage. Successful engineers will have experience of PLC, SCADA, DCS integration together with a working knowledge of OPC, XML and SQL/Oracle databases.
Any candidates with experience of AeBRS, IP21, B21 or Rockwell PMX software would be ideal.
My client is also seeking candidates with a formal qualification in a relevant discipline with experience of a Pharmaceutical/Biopharmaceutical environment. You must also have broad knowledge and practical experience of computer and application validation, preferably using GAMP/S88/S95 methodology with a proven track record in providing automation technical design, build, support and maintenance for instrumentation, automation and controls.
This position is offering a Pay Rate of £30 - 40 p/hr for a 6-12 month duration, and is commutable from Stevenage, Luton, Chelmsford, Bedford, Watford, Hemel Hempstead and Colchester.
