Maintenance Electrician (Food)
Mid £20's - Expect to earn £35k+ with overtime

The Company
Market leading and hugely successful food producer. Employing over 100
people at this site they produce over 5000 tonnes a week. An excellent
opportunity has now arisen to join as a Maintenance Electrician. This role offers
excellent earning potential through regular overtime and the opportunity to join
a very well established business with a presence across Europe.

The Role
In your capacity as a Maintenance Electrician you will be working as part of a
team with an emphasis on trouble shooting during production. You will be
working on a broad range of PLC controlled process and packaging machinery.
Alongside this there is extensive project work to be done to support continuous
improvement initiatives.

The Candidate
Candidates for this position must be apprentice trained electrical engineers with
the ability to use PLC's as a fault finding tool. Previous experience in the food
industry is highly desired. The ability to work well under pressure and a 'can do'
attitude are essential. You should be willing to work until the job is completed
and be available for call out on a one out of five week rota. Regular overtime of
10-20 hours a week is available and maintenance electricians at this company
earn between £35 and £42k.
