Security Service Manager

£30,000 - £45,000 salary + bonus

Based in Lancashire



My client is an established Fire and Security company who are seeking a Security Service Manager to cover their UK Service departments. You will be responsible for the company's service departments maximising the Company's productivity and profit whilst dealing with the demands of a growing business. Ensure that the all division are delivering all work on time, on budget and to the highest possible quality standards. This will in turn help the business secure and develop its position in the industry.

This is an excellent opportunity for candidates based in the Lancashire who are in a Managerial position to use all their transferable skills in a new challenge. This could also suit somebody who may be looking to relocate.



Job Specification



-Will be managing the Security Service departments across the UK as well as personnel, and full P&L.

- You will be predominately office based in constant contact with other service supervisors and engineers.

- You will be responsible to build on existing service and maintenance contract but also drive the department with new business.

- Develop strategies and business plans to maximise sales to new and existing customers in conjunction with Service Centre Team.



- Ensure Service Centres maximise profitability both in terms of gross margins achieved and by tight control over expenditure levels.



- Motivate and manage all Service Centres Staff.



- Ensure that Managers/Supervisors operate Company administrative procedures as determined by the Operations Director and to ensure the daily flow of paperwork is forwarded to Head Office including forecasting and performance reporting.



- Review staffing levels with Managers/Supervisors and agree appropriate number based on turnover and work load and arrange the recruitment process.



- Ensure that in accordance with the Quality Manual Service Centres maintain the Company Quality System for contract maintenance of both portable fire extinguishers and systems including investigating complaints.

EXPERIENCE & QUALIFICATIONS/ KNOWLEDGE REQUIREMENTS



* Extensive experience managing multi discipline teams

* Good standard of computer literacy and numerical ability

* Current Senior Management experience

* Experience of managing a P&L

* Good planning and organisation skills

* Strong leadership skills with hands on management style: Motivational and coaching skills to inspire all LB employees

* Excellent team and communication skills
