Job Title: Mechanical Maintenance Engineer, Mechanical Fitter

Salary: £30,000 basic salary + Overtime and Excellent benefits package

They produce products for some of the most famous brands in the world from a number of international, state of the art manufacturing facilities. Through clever leadership and management they have sustained growth throughout the last 20 years and due to the integration of new product lines the business has developed a need to bolster the existing maintenance team with an experienced engineer.

The Role of a Maintenance Engineer:
You will be required to carry out planned and reactive maintenance on fully automated production lines, working on high speed packaging machinery, conveyors, robotic palletising and associated plant machinery. Joining a highly experienced team you will be required to show great team work skills, as well as the ability to work on your own and the willingness to assist in other areas of the site when needed.

Key Skills:
Ideally you will be a time served apprentice trained maintenance engineer, holding a mechanical engineering qualification. Mechanically biased you will retain basic electrical skills allowing you to isolate machinery, to provide a working environment in accordance with strict health and safety guidelines. Candidates that have been successful in the past have been experienced in FMCG environments and knowledge of high speed packaging experience.

Benefits:
£30,000 basic salary + overtime, pension, life assurance 25 shifts holiday and much more
