Description		Electrical Maintenance Engineer (Night Shift) �15 p/h, 12 Month Contract Due to major upgrades to be undertaken on the existing site facilities of this automated distribution warehouse, this renowned global manufacturer is preparing for a dramatic increase in workload over the coming year. With major projects due to start in August and a shortage of skilled expertise on site, there is an urgent requirement for a skilled maintenance engineer for a 12 month contract. The role will involve: �Reporting to the team leader and being part of a team of 4 engineers. �Planned and preventative maintenance. �Fault find and repair. Often there will be temporary maintenance done during the day and the major repairs will be done at night. �Working on automated machinery � labelling machines, box forming machines, conveyors, accumulator breaks, leaflet distributors. �Multi skilled maintenance � pneumatics pistons, drive belts, motors (60/40) �Day to day tasks when things are quiet - Refurbishing spares, clearing out stores. �Be an excellent communicator (if they change shifts they will need to liaise with operations, pickers and packers, etc) The successful applicant must possess the following. Please note: our client will not accept candidates who not possess all of the following: �Happy working Night Shifts. �A multi-skilled background with strong knowledge of both mechanical and electrical hardware (pneumatics, drive belts, motors). �Experience with automated machinery or fast moving lines (food, automated warehouse, FMCG, packaging, logistics, general engineering or similar). �Be prepared to assist with day to day tasks (self motivated to do things). �Excellent communication skills. �A friendly, personable individual. The company will offer the successful applicant: �An initial 12 month contract. �Opportunities for extensions or a possible permanent role at the end of the contract. ��15 p/h �Overtime available with overtime rates �Training and development � opportunity to get licenses, courses such as. 17th edition. �The opportunity to secure a role with a company experiencing heavy investment. The company: �A major automated distribution warehouse for a renowned global manufacturer. You must be eligible to live and work within the UK to be considered for this position.
