My client specialises in the design and manufacture of communications systems for military and civil customers, they currently have an opportunity for a Production Support Engineer.

Purpose of the role:
To provide manufacturing and test technical support to an electro-mechanical communications product manufacturing programme.

Key Responsibilities:
To provide support to the assembly and test facility set up
To provide support to Sub-contract module assembly and test

Experience in a similar technical/manufacturing support role is essential, e.g. electronics manufacturing production engineering background

Competencies required:
Good technical manufacturing knowledge, particularly PCB/ Surface Mount Technology related.
Self motivated and able to use own initiative when appropriate.
Good interpersonal skills.

MUST HOLD VALID SC SECURITY CLEARANCE
