My client, a multi national refrigeration company, are looking for a design/project engineer to work out of their Glasgow office.

The role demands a high level of technical and financial responsibility together with the ability to work with engineers, sub contractors, customers and in house resources.

Main responsibilities include;

To produce system designs and costings for marine refrigeration plants and water chillers under the guidance of the systems design manager.

To work under the direction of the marine contracts manager to plan, manager, monitor and control individual projects from order acceptance to final invoicing.

To assist in achieving sales margins whilst ensuring contractual obligations to the customer are met.

You will hold an ONC (or equivalent) in mechanical or electrical engineering and have knowledge of refrigeration plant and their electronic controls.
