The successful candidate will be multi-skilled and adaptable and have a comprehensive knowledge of the Diecast function, covering electrical, mechanical, hydraulic and pneumatic systems in a busy environment.
Key requirements will be to optimize cycle times and achieve OEE targets, whilst introducing best practice and standardising setting practices, including the training setters/operators. Responsibilities include tooling design, improvement and maintenance for 4 Frech Diecast machines and maintenance and improvement of quality standards.
Candidates - ideally full/part qualified EITB Engineer/Improver, will have a detailed knowledge of all aspects of zinc diecasting – together with good IT and effective problem solving & continuous improvement skills. Further development/training opportunities are available for the right person.
