Job Title: Technical Project Manager – Targeting Systems

Fantastic opportunity for a Project Manager to join one of the worlds leading aerospace and defence companies providing an extensive range of communication and aviation electronic solutions. As Technical Project Manager your experience will be key in the future development of innovative targeting systems.

The team are involved in the development of new product features relating to a Targeting System allowing soldiers to locate and transmit target position.


The role:

You’ll be responsible for leading the development team consisting of system, hardware and software engineers in delivering the required targeting systems to cost, schedule and quality.

Accountabilities include developing and executing project plan, organising the team and resources. Also managing project funding and financial performance.

Other key areas of involvement range from technical proposals/bids to final qualification/validation and also contributing to the business development areas.



Skills required:

You’ll need to have similar experience in leading an engineering team in successfully executing a targeting product/system development project.
A technical ability to understand system, hardware, software and manufacturing related issues will also be required.
You’ll possess strong team management and customer facing skills. Any knowledge of Tactical Data Link will be highly desirable.
