Generator Field Service Engineer – West Yorkshire Leeds / Bradford (Large Units)

We are working with one of the worlds most innovative Generator companies whose specialties include Combined Heat and Power generation units, and we have an opportunity based from home for a Field Service Engineer.

You will be travelling daily to customer sites in the Leeds / Bradford areas servicing and maintaining CHP (Combined Heat and Power) units, providing client satisfaction and outstanding customer service at all times.
Responsible for around 20 CHP units you will respond to breakdowns and service calls, maintaining and repairing any faulty units.

Located within the West Yorkshire area, you will be servicing CHP units in Leeds / Bradford and the surrounding towns.

Requirements:
• Prior experience in servicing / maintaining large power supply equipment such as MTU Engines, 16 cylinder CATS, CHP sets, engines, generators, or UPS Systems.
• Educated to a minimum of HNC / ONC / City and Guilds or HM forces level
• Strong Mechanical Engineering skills
• Strong engine knowledge, fault finding, service and repair.
• An Electrical aptitude

You will possess a full and valid UK driving license, strong commutation skills and a high attention to detail.

A competitive salary is on offer £22,000 - £26,000, together with a company van, bonus, pension, laptop, mobile phone and holiday.
