Description		Our Prestigious Client is a global engineering consultancy, service and solution provider, supporting clients in the energy industries. They have recently launched a major recruitment drive which will open a number of exciting opportunities for ambitious Energy Industry Experts who are interested in building a career with one of the world's leading Energy consultancies Their Networks and Metering Division are seeking to recruit a PE Engineer with detailed knowledge of polyethylene materials related to the gas and water utility environment. Such knowledge should relate to the manufacture, performance and operational application of PE pipework and fittings. Reporting to a Delivery Consultant or Senior Delivery Consultant, the Engineer will be a key member of a group of engineers providing consultancy support to a wide range of companies worldwide. Key Accountabilities: �Provide polyethylene (PE) consultancy solutions to a wide range of customers �Undertake and co-ordinate material failure investigations �Lead operational and research projects related to PE materials and their usage Technical / Professional Expertise and Qualifications Required �Degree in Mechanical Engineering or Polymer/Materials related discipline �Experience of Plastic Pipes/fittings gained within Utilities, Civil Engineering or Manufacturing environment. �Proven experience and understanding of Failure Modes and reasoning for plastic pipes and fittings within the Utility environment.
