Innovative and proactive Mechanical Design Engineer now required for a project engineering company that specialise in the design, manufacture and installation of special purpose and automated machinery within the process and packaging sectors, offering solutions which range from simple conveyor systems through to fully automatic product handling applications.

The successful Mechanical Designer will primarily be involved with the design of bespoke automated machinery particularly high speed packaging solutions for the FMCG market utilising servo & robotic control. You will be providing designs which are cost effective to customer specification from concept through to final design managing the project though to installation and commissioning.

You will hold a formal qualification in Mechanical Engineering with comprehensive experience in the design of machines. Experience of the use of 3D CAD is advantageous, however training will be given if required.

This position is paying a basic salary of up to £32k depending on experience and is commutable from Dewsbury, Halifax, Leeds, Huddersfield, Wakefield and Bradford.
