Senior HVAC Design Engineer immediately required for a leading specialist in the provision of integrated engineering systems and plants for hi-tech industries as a specialist in security and safety applications and suppliers to the Nuclear and associated industries. The services our client offers span consultancy, design and studies through to machine/process detail design and manufacture, enabling them to offer fully turnkey capability for unique production processes.

The Senior HVAC Design Engineer will be responsible for producing design studies and documentation for all projects, working within a multi-disciplined design team. You will also be responsible for undertaking the design of HVAC services with work undertaken individually or by managing a small team of designers.

In order to be considered for this role, you must have a formal qualification in a relevant discipline and you will be either a Chartered Engineer or working towards chartered status. You will also have:


Hands on capability of 2D and 3D design, ideally with Hevacomp and/or Pipenet
Broad based engineering experience in Building Services design and installation.
Experience or a good working knowledge of ventilation and air conditioning systems, nuclear ventilation & containment and piped service.
Intimate knowledge of drawing principles and standards.
Understand the requirements of CE marking.
Ability to produce technical reports and documents.
Experience of managing design teams
Experience with HAZOP/HAZID would be a distinct advantage

This post will also require the candidate to obtain security clearance and you will also require a full UK driving license.
