PROJECT ENGINEER RENEWABLE ENERGY - WIND, WAVE, TIDAL ENERGY - OFFSHORE, MARINE, SUBSEA ENVIRONMENT

Excellent prospects working for a market leader in the high growth renewable energy (wind, wave, tidal) sector. Project Engineer from any offshore background considered although - marine / subsea / wave / wind / tidal / renewable energy backgrounds desirable

ROLE - Project Engineer - Renewable Energy Wind & Wave
The purpose of the Project Engineer is to provide technical and project management expertise to enable the execution of offshore renewable marine energy projects in a safe, timely and cost effective way.

KEY RESULT AREAS
• Assist the Project Manager in all aspects of day-today management of the project
• Contribute to the development and maintenance of budgets and schedules
• Review / commenting of technical documentation and installation methodologies
• Ensure that company quality and HSE standards are met
• Act as site representative in design/fabrication sites or offshore if and when required
• Ensure interfaces between contracts and hardware are managed
• Creation of specifications, scope of works and any other project documentation required

EXPERIENCE
• A degree in Engineering and ideally experience in a project team in engineering and/or construction
• Team worker
• Cost/Value aware
• Power industry experience would be beneficial but is not essential
• Offshore experience very beneficial

SALARY
Negotiable for the right candidate (circa £25,000-50,000)
Up to 40% bonus
