Description		Production Engineering Technicians (Mechanical fitters) x 2 - experience of high volume automated machinery - pneumatics - electrical skills - based Sutton Coldfield, near Birmingham - salary �20 - 25K We are looking for two apprentice trained Mechanical Fitters with experience of high volume automated machinery including pneumatics The fitters will, ideally, also have experience and be qualified in electrical technology giving them a wide range of skills Reporting to the Production Engineering Manager, the engineering technicians will form a new cell whose focus will be on optimising production output efficiency i.e. 'upping the output' for a company who is a British manufacturer renowned in their field Candidates will need to have had 'hands-on' technical experience in a manufacturing environment and should be able to demonstrate a significant contribution to improving processes in past positions A balance of skills and diagnostic ability will be key to these roles which will give the Mechanical Production Technician the opportunity to thrive in an environment which will require you to plan your work, take the appropriate action on your own initiative and diagnose and overcome operating faults. The ability to work flexibly as part of the small engineering team and communicate effectively both in writing and verbally is required OTJ specialises in engineering and engineering related positions.
