The Client:
An established national facilities maintenance service provider, with an enviable reputation of of working on prestigious national and regional contracts.
The Role:
Responsible for ensuring that a risk aware and profit driven culture exists within the business. This is achieved predominantly through review, effective drafting and enforcement of customer/supplier contracts; instigating and driving cost containment and productivity initiatives; maximisation of revenue. You will be a key interface between operations, finance, sales and central bid teams. The Commercial Manager is a key member of the regional management team, with a major opportunity to influence, develop and implement the business strategy of the business unit. You will be responsible for major commercial accounts for this national service provider.
The Candidate:
Previous experience as a Commercial Manager in the Facilities Maintenance sector is essential
Ideal candidates may have previous experience as M&E Quantity Surveyors for the Facilities Maintenance sector.
Must have demonstrable ability to generate profit with the business
Strong commercial and financial acumen and contractual mindset
Analytical and problem solving mind
Clear communicator both written and oral
Negotiating Skills
People Influencing Skills
Objective
Tenacity and Assertiveness
Full UK Drivers license.
