AutoCAD Draughtsman,
(Furniture, Cabinets or Joinery Experience)
£12 p/h Ltd, 3 Week Contract

Due to winning major repeat business projects with some well respected high street clients, this renowned shop fitting and retail display supplier is experiencing a rapidly increasing workload which looks set to continue over the next few months. With projects well underway and the company required to meet tight deadlines, there is an urgent requirement for a design draughtsman with AutoCAD experience.

The role will involve:
• Liaising with the engineering manager for design projects.
• Producing drawings for manufacture using AutoCAD.
• Working on retail design parts. Materials will predominately be timber, but also some metal, glass and plastic parts.
• Problem solving and coming up with cost saving ideas.

The successful applicant must posses the following skills. Our client will not accept applicants who do not possess all of the following:
• Experience with the design of joinery, cabinets, fitted furniture or point of sale retail display (must be timber products).
• Experienced in AutoCAD.
• Understanding of the manufacturing process i.e. what materials are required, how they fit together, how money can be saved, etc.
• Prepared to work long hours in a high pressure environment with tight deadlines.

• An initial 3 week contract which opportunities for extensions.
• £12 p/h Ltd or £10.50 p/h PAYE.
• Overtime available to complete designs (you will work 45-60 hours per week).
